Tyson Fury reiterates desire for Deontay Wilder rematch after defeating Otto Wallin on points

After overcoming a cut at a points win Otto Wallin at Las Vegas over tyson Fury reiterated his desire for a rematch with Deontay Wilder.

The former heavyweight champion of britain sustained a gaping wound on his right eye in the next round, but still battled back to complete a unanimous decision win over Sweden’s Wallin using scores of 118-110 and 116-112, 117-111 in the T-Mobile Arena. A Fury confessed the rebellious efforts of his competitor, also appeared on the brink of quitting Wallin, only to be hurt in the 12th. “After that, I would like to say big congratulations to Otto Wallin,” Fury told ESPN. “This was a terrific battle. I got caught on with the interior of the glove. “I have never seen that the cut, however it seems quite bad. “Listen, it was a great performance, I got 12 rounds in.” WBC champion Wilder is expected to announce a rematch with Luis Ortiz prior to a projected battle with Fury, who captured his opportunity to call out the American again following their draw in December. He said:”Deontay Wilder,” I’d like you next!” “That’s my fourth fight, it has set me in great stead for the significant dosser, February 22. “Let the cut cure, have some opportunity to unwind with the family.” The boxer believes he demonstrated himself in a higher class, although wallin suffered the first defeat of his profession. “Yeah I didn’t even listen to the scorecards, but I did what I could. I tried my very best,” said Wallin. “I tried to hit it (the cut) even more.
