Sam Spinner pointed at Doncaster next

Jedd OKeeffe has Got the RSA Chase in mind for Sam Spinner and is plotting a Path to the race Through the December Novices Chase at Doncaster.

The Long Walk Hurdle winner has created a flawless start to his chasing career so far, winning both starts over the obstacles using something to spare. He had been also a three-length winner on his debut over fences at a novice contest at Wetherby in October and returned to post a second success over an excursion of three miles. The Grade 2 is being now targeted by oKeeffe with the seven-year-old on December 14, with all the three-mile RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March the goal. Hes in wonderful shape, the trainer said of the stable star, who finished second behind Paisley Park at the Stayers Hurdle in the seasons Festival. His next target is the Grade Two three-mile novice chase in Doncaster – the December Novices Chase. We will see how we get on there, but our long-term strategy in the RSA Chase at the Festival.
